RENO (AP) - Washoe County health officials are sending a $4,500 bill for the cleanup of rotting game meat in an abandoned Sparks trailer to a trustee in a butcher shop bankruptcy.

A Reno newspaper reports the bill is being sent to Keith Tierney, who's listed as a court-appointed trustee in a bankruptcy filed by Butcher Boy Meats last year in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Reno.

Tierney declined to comment.

Cleanup crews in protective suits and masks had to remove hundreds of pounds of rotting meat from the trailer in June after it was abandoned in a bankruptcy dispute with the closed butcher shop.

Butcher Boy owners have said they did not have access to the trailer for more than five months because the locks were changed by the bankruptcy trustee.
