Carson City Sheriff's officials are currently responding to multiple accidents around the region this evening.
The accidents are because of the icy conditions on the road ways. Snow and rain mixed with cooling temperatures have caused the roads to become ice rinks.
No major injuries have been reported. Officials are encouraging travelers to use caution if they must travel.
