Carson City

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Coroner call in the 1800 block of East Long Street at 1:28 a.m.

• Report of a woman with superficial stab wounds in the 700 block of North Walsh Street at 3:04 a.m. An arrest was made.

• Report of a man trying to break a counterfeit $100 bill at a casino cage at 9:50 a.m. When police arrived, the man said the casino gave him the $100 bill the day prior when he cashed a check. The casino cashier remembered the man from the previous day, did not recall anything unusual about the money when she gave it to him, but conceded she was busy that day and may not have noticed. The $100 bill was taken into evidence.

• Threat report at Pioneer High School at 12:30 p.m. An arrest was made.

• A man reported at 4:53 p.m. he lost his debit card at a Highway 50 East grocery store and someone else used it.

• A man reported at 7:58 p.m. that he was scammed by a Craigslist seller. He said he met a man with a Russian accent to purchase a $154 retail gift card. At the store where the card was good, the two went inside to confirm the card's balance, then the man gave the seller $80. After the seller left, the buyer went inside to get a gift receipt and the clerk told him $154 had just been charged online against the card.

• Accident involving four vehicles at Fairview Drive and California Street at 8:08 p.m.

• A mother reported her

11-year-old daughter was incorrigible and left the house at 8:18 p.m.

• A man called to ask that deputies remove his intoxicated wife from his home at 10:53 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Two felony arrests on Main Street in Fernley at 12:21 a.m.

• A woman on Red Jacket Drive in Dayton reported at 8:57 a.m. her license plates were switched with her neighbor's license plates and her angel yard ornament was broken in the street.

• Coroner call on Farm District Road in Fernley at 10:14 a.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of a generator and fishing poles stolen from the back of a pickup on Canyon Way at 6:35 p.m.
