Convalescent Center opens hospice wing

Carson Convalescent Center opened its new hospice wing Oct. 8.

Located at Carson Convalescent Center, 2898 Highway 50 East, Carson City, the hospice wing is exclusively dedicated to the special needs of hospice patients and their families. It features nine private and semi-private rooms; a family room, including a bed for overnight visitors; a private dining room and specially trained staff skilled in hospice and palliative care.
