Twin Peaks Race

for a Cure

This event is for every off-road racing enthusiast who wants to help support Breast Cancer awareness. Get those bikes ready for a fun single track race around the "Twin Peaks" Purgatory Peak track that sports fabulous views, great washes, rocks, waterfalls and fun. Novice friendly and the event should be filled with a few whoops and hollers.

Swing Dance Lessons

Get in the swing of things with High Sierra Swing Dance fall-in-step dance lessons. With the winter months coming, this is a great way to stay fit and trim. The six-week series of dance lessons are on Wednesdays at the Brewery Art Center. While you're down there, check out all the fall classes. There is always something for all ages to stir your artistic side.

Sgt. Frank R. Zaehringer III, 23, was born and raised in Reno, attending Wooster High School. He was killed in action in Afghanistan this week. My heart goes out to his entire family. Beer & Brats with CHS 6TH Man Booster Club

The annual Beer & Brats fundraiser for Carson High School Basketball team is coming this next weekend. Get your tickets soon as this event always sells out. This helps support Carson High School basketball and the Sixth Man Club. Sample different beers, enjoy some bratwursts. There are always great raffle prizes, silent auction and of course great friends.
