July 17, 1952 - Oct. 12, 2010

Mary Cameron, 58, of Carson City, passed away Oct. 12, 2010, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. She was born July 17, 1952, in Indiana. She was raised from an early age in the San Francisco Bay area. As a young adult, Mary moved to Reno, to further her career as a court reporter.

While living in Nevada, she fell in love with the great outdoors. After living in Reno for a few years, she moved to Carson City and began working for Capitol Reporters. A few more years passed and she bought out the business. Capitol Reporters became the focal point of her life for the past 15 years.

Mary was preceded in death by her sister and best friend, Alice Bell, as well as their father. She is survived by her mother, Helen Addington; brothers Frank and James Bell, sister Bobbe Bell; and only child and best friend Marlene Cameron. She also leaves behind a loving brother-in-law, Glenn Adams, and beautiful niece Amy Adams. Also worth mentioning is "Stinkin' Lincoln," Mary's beloved yellow English Lab grand-dog.

A public memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at Walton's Chapel of the Valley at 1281 N. Roop St., Carson City.
