Marion A. Lupo, 101, passed away June 17, 2011, in Yerington, where she had lived for the past two years. Prior to that she had resided in Gardnerville for more than 40 years. Marion was a homemaker and a member of St. Galls Catholic Church in Gardnerville. She loved to cook, especially for her family and friends.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband Henry, in 1981, a son Dominic, in 2010, and a daughter Lucia Lee, in 1982.
She is survived by daughter Paula Huffman (Jack); sister Joan Dekort; 10 grandchildren, Judy Shallenberger, Connie Duncan, Pamela Willson, Henry Lupo, Victoria McClure, Ralph Huffman, Patrick Huffman, Jackie Schunk, Robert Lupo and Gianna Lupo; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011, also at Walton's. Burial will follow in Genoa Cemetery.
