Perfect Bliss: Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Bliss gave a children's picnic in honor of their son Duane at the Bliss ranch near Clear Creek. Some fifty children were conveyed to the grounds. Each child ate at least five plates of strawberries and drank a half a dozen glasses of lemonade from a barrel.

120 YEARS AGO

Two men in this city have been in the habit of doing the "Peeping Tom" act. After a dose of the "tar bucket" they will not try their game again.

Every Nevada motor vehicle driver will be required to secure a driver's license in accordance with the provisions of the legislative act passed by the recent state legislature.

Photo caption: Wizard of Oz scenery for the June production by the Ross School of Dance is receiving final touches by Bill Ross and Betty Helgren. Three separate back-drops have been designed for the five-act play which is taken from the movie adaptation of the children's series of Oz books. The public is invited to the presentation in the Civic Auditorium.
