Traffic moving as fire burns near Highway 395 in Washoe Valley

Highway 395 is now reopen through Washoe Valley according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

A brush fire is currently burning 10 acres on the east side of Highway 395,

just south of old Washoe City, according to Sierra Front website.

The fire is causing traffic delays on Highway 305.

The Sierra Front Dispatch Center has sent 4 engines, 2 Helicopters, and 2 Handcrews.

Do not have a listing of Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District resources,

but they have responded resources also.

According to Sierra Front, there is no report of structures threatened.
