The Fallon Longhorns beat Yerington to capture the first tournament win of the season.
The Fallon Longhorns opened their 2013-14 basketball season on a successful note winning four straight games in the seventh/eighth-grade division at the Yerington Tournament on Nov. 22-24.
Fallon dropped the Yerington Havoc, 36-30, in the final. Trae’ Thomson and Faith Cornmesser were named Most Valubale Players, while Christian Nemith and Brittany Davis were named to the all-tournament team and Trey Rooks received the all-inspirational award.
The Longhorns are coached by Tommy Thomson and Chelle Dalager.
