The Churchill County Middle School eighth-grade basketball team is on a roll.

After a 19-12 loss to Winnemucca, the Lady Wave ripped off four straight wins to end the regular season.

Fallon dropped Eagle Valley, 25-22, Silver Stage, 34-11, Dayton, 41-14, and nipped Fernley, 33-32, to finish 8-0 in league play. Overall, the Lady Wave are 12-3 with their only losses coming from Winnemucca.

Fallon is the No. 1 seed and hosts the Sagebrush Tournament on Friday and Saturday.

As for the seventh-graders, the Lady Wave lost to Winnemucca, 22-17, Eagle Valley, 24-18 and Fernley, 46-20. Fallon, though, beat Silver Stage, 28-4, and Dayton, 25-22.

Fallon finished the season 5-10.
