Commissioners meet tomorrow

The first County Commission meeting of December will be conducted Thursday at 8:15 a.m. at the Churchill County Administration Building chambers, 155 N. Taylor St.

Among the items commissioners will discuss and that are up for possible action include the following:

Consideration and possible action regarding proposed regulations to address nuisance calls regarding at-large dogs chasing, attacking and biting livestock and humans, as well as dog-related noise in urbanized areas.

Consideration and possible action regarding discussion, modification and/or rescind administrative policies.

Consideration and possible action regarding authorization to enter into PATH program lease for one year.

Consideration and possible action regarding the Community Development Block Grant application presentations for fiscal year 2016.

Consideration and possible action regarding amendment to the current addendum to the July 2011 professional services agreement between Churchill County Assessor’s Office and Pictometry International, a Delaware corporation, for fiscal year 2014-2015 and 2015-2016.

Consideration and possible action regarding a contract between Churchill County and Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe for cost sharing of pictometry imaging.

Consideration and possible action regarding request from Anthony Enos for reimbursement/credit for investment made into the Wild Goose Ranch.

Consideration and possible action regarding Steve Johnson’s AP chemistry class presentation on the 2014 Yucca Mountain Community Survey.

Consideration and possible action regarding request transfer of funds to the city of Fallon for the first and final payment for the 2014 slurry seal miscellaneous city streets project.

Consideration and possible action regarding Storm’s Oasis Dairy LLC-An application for a sending site and transfer of development rights calculation for property located, 7770 Flying K Ranch Lane, APN: 006-101-02, consisting of ±470.59 acres, with ±374.76 water righted acres, in the A-10 land use district.

Consideration and possible action regarding decision to appeal orders issued by a federal district judge, which modifies the Orr Ditch Decree.

Consideration and possible action regarding appointment to Churchill County Advisory Boards: I. Churchill County Planning Commission; II. Churchill County Board of Equalization.
