AAA offering free rides home, tows on New Year’s Eve

AAA’s Tipsy Tow program is offering everyone, not just its members, a free tow home from 6 p.m. today to 6 a.m. New Year’s Day.

The service will provide a one-way ride for the driver and vehicle to the driver’s home. Additional passengers who need a ride will be taken to the driver’s home as long as there is room for them to be transported safely in the tow truck.

Reservations in advance are not accepted. For a free tow of up to 10 miles, call 800-222-4357, and tell the operator, “I need a Tipsy Tow.”
