Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on suspicion of two counts of petit larceny

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 3:37 p.m., a 26-year-old transient was arrested on suspicion of two counts of petit larceny after security at Walmart tried to stop him from leaving the store. He fled but was caught in the neighborhood behind the store. He also was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia, prescription drugs and having a false registration because the plates on his vehicle didn’t match the vehicle. Total bail was set at $4,000.
