Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Men arrested on suspicion of domestic battery

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 3:17 p.m., a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of speeding-21-plus over, suspended driver’s license and a Lyon County warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Airport Road and College Parkway. Bail was set at $900.

At 4 p.m., a 39-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer after making false claims she was pregnant with kidney stones. Bail was set at $300.

At 5:32 p.m., a 70-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near Highway 580 and Fairview off ramp. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 6:10 p.m., a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery at the 3900 block of Pheasant Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 8:30 p.m., a 77-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and trespassing after deputies responded to reports of a woman lying on the sidewalk and yelling at customers at the Rand Avenue Chevron. Bail was set at $300.

At 11:49 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and violation of conditions after deputies responded to reports of a woman throwing clothes into the street and yelling obscenities near 5th and Ruth streets. Bail was set at $3,150.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
