Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on attempted trafficking of a controlled substance

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 9:58 a.m., a 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense near the 1100 block of Nevada Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 11:10 a.m., a 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 4:01 p.m., Omar Oronia-Camacho, 29 of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of documents of establish false ID. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 5:00 p.m., Gary Emerson, 42, of Reno, was arrested on suspicion of attempted trafficking a controlled substance and contempt of court. Bail was set at $28,000.

At 9:42 p.m., Toni Horny, 45, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and DUI-first offense after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Lompa and Nye Lanes. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 10:06 p.m., a 56-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-alcohol first offense and failure to maintain lane after deputies noticed a vehicle swerving next to Stewart and Second streets. Bail was set at $1,040.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
