The Young Entrepreneurs Collective, in collaboration with city of Fallon Co-Working Space, is hosting a series of six classes to expand business owners’ skills across a variety of topics.

The free series kicks off today at 6:30 p.m. at the Old Post Office, 90 N. Maine St.

The first class taught by digital media expert Allegra Demerjian covers the broad topic of social media for businesses. From Facebook to LinkedIn, Demerjian breaks down the significance of each platform and how to craft an impactful strategy with measurable results.

“With a plethora of social media options available, business owners should know which one to choose and how to plan for it,” Demerjian said. “It’s up to entrepreneurs to control the digital message, align that message with company branding and keep the impact positive.”

Demerjian currently works as the Digital Communications manager at The Abbi Agency in Reno. Her passion for social media keeps her at the forefront of the industry and researches daily on how to stay ahead of the curve.

Upon completion of all six classes, participants receive a certificate of completion, valued at $700. Attendees are also invited to use the amenities provided by the Co-Working Space, including computers, working desks, printers and an entrepreneurial library. These classes and amenities provide business owners with the necessary resources to grow and improve.
