Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested for preventing a victim from calling 911

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 7:40 a.m., David Albertson, 21, was arrested on suspicion of felony sale of a controlled substance, two counts of felony trafficking 4-14 grams, felony trafficking 14-28 grams and possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $50,000.

At 2:15 p.m., a 20-year-old transient woman and a 23-year-old transient woman were arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of two women attempting to take items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail for both was set at $250.

At 6:00 p.m., Amanda Urnberg, 29, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony preventing a victim from calling 911, felony elder abuse, domestic battery-first offense and two counts of violation of probation after deputies responded to reports of a woman calling dispatch yelling for help near the 3700 block of Meadow Wood Road. Bail was set at $34,000.

At 6:57 p.m., a 46-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after deputies responded to reports near the 2800 block of Menlo Drive. Bail for both was set at $3,000.

At 8:36 p.m., a 50-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and criminal contempt after deputies stopped a man on a bike near the 1800 block of Carson Street.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
