Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance

At 9:26 p.m., a 48-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken pedestrian after the woman called Dispatch reporting someone was trying to kill her. Bail was set at $25.

At 11:12 p.m., Efrain Himenez, 38, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony battery with intent to commit robbery, felony eluding with endangerment, felony attempted grand larceny auto, ex-felon failure to register, obstructing an officer and fictitious and suspended plates after deputies initiated a traffic stop and Himenez fled the scene. Also arrested at the incident was 33-year-old Laura Borst on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance. Bail for Himenez was set at $62,500, bail for Borst was set at $2,500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
