Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of being a fugitive from justice

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 2 p.m., a 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense and violation of conditions. Bail was set at $6,000.

SATURDAY

At 4:57 a.m., a 25-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a possibly intoxicated subject attempting to get into an apartment. Bail was set at $150.

At 8:00 a.m., Charles Scharadin, 37, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and suspended driver’s license after deputies conducted a traffic stop near Carson Street and Hospitality Way. Bail was set at $500.

At 6:05 p.m., Marc Berg, 29, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony fugitive from justice from Utah-third degree theft, felony possession of a controlled substance, and four counts of possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $7,500.

SUNDAY

At 12:43 a.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-second offense, drugs after deputies conducted a traffic stop near Saliman and 5th Streets. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 5:36 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense, driving without a valid license, and speeding 11-15 after deputies responded to reports of a car nearly running over an individual. Bail was set at $1,160.

At 1:27 p.m., a 19-year-old homeless man was arrested on suspicion of minor consuming alcohol and obstructing. Bail was set at $450.

At 5:00 p.m., Stig Strong, 25, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony battery by a prisoner after deputies responded to reports of two prisoners fighting in the Carson City jail. Bail was set at $20,000.

At 8:29 p.m., a 40-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
