An evening of Halloween and autumn music by the Carson Valley Pops Orchestra is in store at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 at the CVIC Hall in Minden.
The band, conducted by Bill Zabelsky and Stephanie Reynolds, will play “The Phantom of the Opera March,” “The Pit and the Pendulum,” “March to the Scaffold” from Symphony Fantastique and “The Barber of Seville.”
The audience can arrive early to join in on a raffle and enjoy a glass of wine or beer. Admission is free.
The Pops Orchestra will present its winter concert on Dec. 12; a spring scholarship concert on April 9 and a patriotic concert on July 4. For more information, go to www.cvpops.org, or call 775 843-0830.
