The Carson Valley Pops Orchestra will be celebrating the season at its annual holiday concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 10 at the CVIC Hall in Minden.
The free concert, featuring the Voices of the Sierra Choir, will feature traditional Christmas tunes. A holiday sing-along also is planned. The performance will be led by co-conductors Stephanie Reynolds and C.J. Birch.
Arrive early and enjoy a glass of wine or beer while you check out the selection of raffle prizes donated by local merchants.
The nonprofit orchestra puts on free performances throughout the year. Other performances scheduled include a spring concert on April 1, Pops Plays Pipers on April 29, and a patriotic concert on July 4 in Heritage Park. All shows are at 7 p.m.
