Carson City's Mikey and Aaron Orlick, representing Out of Bounds Snowboards, came home with top finishes this past weekend in the USASA halfpipe snowboarding competition at Sierra-at-Tahoe.
Mikey, competing in the youth men (ages 14-15) division, had a dominating first place performance. His run consisted of huge airs, frontside 540s, a frontside 720 and a McTwist that was easily the top run of the day. His point total of 49 was nearly 20 points higher than the second place finisher.
Aaron, competing in the breaker boys division (ages 12-13) took fourth in the USASA boardcross held on Saturday. On Sunday, Aaron took third in his age division in the halfpipe event at Sierra-at-Tahoe.
