The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- A 23-year-old waitress from Carson City was arrested at 4:15 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of North Carson Street on misdemeanor failure to comply on a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,000.


-- Billy Ray Cole Jr., 37, a tree surgeon from Carson City, was arrested at 2 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of North Saliman Road on misdemeanor failure to appear in court, failure to comply on driving under the influence, failure to comply on a battery charge, felony suspicion possession of a controlled substance and suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $49,500.


-- A 22-year-old auto body worker from Gardnerville was arrested at 3:56 a.m. Saturday on the corner of West Telegraph Street and Carson Street on misdemeanor suspicion of first offense DUI, failure to be obedient to a traffic control device, and driving with a restricted license. Bail was set at $1,240.


-- A 48-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 2:55 a.m. Saturday on the corner of Hot Springs Road and Research Way on misdemeanor suspicion of failure to comply. A cash-only bail was set at $600.


-- A 21-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 8:29 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of South Roop Street on misdemeanor suspicion of failure to appear in court on a theft charge and ex-felon failure to register. Bail was set at $530.


-- A 20-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Woodside Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol, having an open container and driving with no valid driver's license. Bail was set at $430.


-- A 27-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 7 p.m. Friday on the corner of Gordon Street and Edmonds Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of contempt of court. A cash only bail was set at $370.


-- Ruben DeLaPaz, 49, a banquet server from Carson City, was arrested at 4 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of West College Parkway on felony suspicion of possession of child pornography. Bail was set at $20,000.


-- A 29-year-old janitor from Carson City was arrested at 8:45 a.m. Friday on the corner of Lompa Lane and Bryan Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of having a break light out, obstructing a police officer, driving with no valid driver's license and no proof of insurance. Bail was set at $1,290.
