A memorial service for Samuel Joseph Woldridge, 58, a Carson City resident for the past 25 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Woldridge died Dec. 6, 2004, in Carson City.
He was born March 5, 1946, in Watonga, Okla., to Samuel and Juanita Woldridge.
He retired as district maintenance manager after 33 years at the Nevada Department of Transportation. He was a member of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed fishing, camping, the outdoors and spending time with his family.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1968.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Everett.
Among his survivors are his wife of 38 years, Peggy; son and daughter-in-law, Samuel J. and Julianne of Woodland Park, Colo; daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline Ann and John Cassinelli of Dayton; brothers Rod of North Fork and Robert of Florida; and grandchildren Elizabeth and Samuel Woldridge and Dustin and Samantha Cassinelli.
