The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Richard Dixon, 34, a cable technician from Carson City, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of South Carson Street on a fugitive from justice warrant. He was wanted in California on suspicion of felony possession of narcotics. Bail was set at $20,000.

- Jose Ramirez, 19, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 2:37 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of Rand Avenue on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of burglary tools, misdemeanor no insurance, failing to stop at sign, and no valid license.

- Michelle Denise Terry, 36, a housekeeper from Carson City, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. Monday in the 3700 block of Meadowood Road on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,500.

n Deputies responded to the following calls:

- A vehicle was stolen from the 2800 block of Poole Way Monday at 7:03 p.m. Owner reportedly left the key in the vehicle.

- A stolen plate was found on an unoccupied vehicle in the 700 block of South Carson Street at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday.

- A husband reported at 1:08 p.m. Monday his wife battered him five days ago.

- A woman reported at 3:11 p.m. Monday two rings and a silver coin were stolen from a safe.

- A man reported his wallet and radio were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of Rand Avenue at 5:54 a.m.
