The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Kevin Michael Geralds, 30, a prison guard from Carson City, was arrested at 8:29 a.m. Friday in the 3100 block of Desatoya Drive on a felony warrant for suspicion of battery causing substantial bodily harm. He allegedly struck a man several times Feb. 28 at Bully's Sports Bar & Grill. According to the criminal complaint, the victim suffered an "orbital fracture" of his eye.

• Troy Steven Manies Jr., 28, a transient, was arrested at 7:09 a.m. Friday at Salmon and Sweetwater drives on suspicion of felony failure to appear and misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer.


n Deputies responded to the following calls:

• A CD player and discs were taken from a vehicle in the 1500 block of North Edmonds Drive Thursday.

• A live round was found on the windowsill of a laundry room in the 500 block of West College Parkway on Friday morning.

• People fighting with baseball bats was reported at 8:49 a.m. Friday in the 1300 block of South Carson Street. No arrests made.
