The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• Hit and run in the 400 block of Eagle Station at 1:09 p.m. Thursday.


• A vehicle in the 2000 block of Hawthorne Court was burglarized sometime Thursday night.


• A woman reported at 1:44 p.m. unknown subjects in a red four-door sedan stole her purse from a shopping cart in the 3700 block of South Carson Street. Her purse was found on Saliman Road, but numerous items were missing.


• A home in the 1900 block of Maxwell Road was burglarized over the Christmas holiday while the homeowner was out of town.


• Four vehicles near Christmas Tree Drive were burglarized sometime before Thursday.


• Windows on West Sixth Street were shot out with a pellet gun at 5:37 p.m. Thursday.


• A vehicle was burglarized in the 4200 block of Northgate Lane.


• A male in a red hatchback allegedly cocked and pointed a sawed-off shotgun at someone in the 2000 block of North Carson Street at 6:26 p.m. Thursday. A report was taken.


• An accident at 7:35 a.m. Friday in the 5100 block of South Carson Street near Spooner Junction.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• A man called at 11:22 a.m. and said the creek washed out his road at his home in the Virginia City Highlands and he was unable to get in and out. He said he thought the county maintained the dirt roadway, but was told the county only maintains paved roads. The man, who has a bad back, said his truck was not running, but he had enough food.


• A man reported at 12:02 p.m. his truck had been stolen by his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend Wednesday.


• A woman reported her fiance knocked her down and took her car at 2:55 a.m. on Avenue De La Emerald in Sparks.
