In a battle for first in the Sierra League, the Carson junior varsity girls basketball team fell just short. Reno improved to 7-0 in league while Carson fell to 6-1.
Morgan Nuckols scored 14 points, Kailey Taylor had 10 points, Christa Casci had seven points and Lailah Mobaligh added three points.
