The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 29-year-old car detailer from Carson City was arrested at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday at the Pioneer Motel on suspicion of two misdemeanor counts of failure to comply and one count of failure to appear. Bail was set at $3,275.


• A 25-year-old server from Carson City was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Hamilton Court on suspicion of obstructing an officer, failure to yield to a peace officer, driving with an expired registration, driving without insurance and driving without a valid license. Her bail was set at $2,250.




-- The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• Lamp posts were knocked from a fence in the 1800 block of Maison Way around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.


• An elderly man was struck in a crosswalk and possibly broke his hip at 8:51 a.m. Wednesday at North Carson and Robinson streets. The driver was cited. The man was taken to the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.


• A 4-year-old was treated at the hospital Tuesday at 11:14 a.m. for ankle and arm pain possibly received from a stepmother over the weekend.


• A pedestrian was struck in the 1100 block of Saliman Road at 2:46 p.m. Tuesday. The pedestrian declined an ambulance.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A drunken driving report on Highway 50 East in Mark Twain at 7:51 a.m.


• A vandalism report in the 200 block of Walmsley Court in Dayton at 8:25 a.m.


• An accident on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley at 4:22 p.m.


• A fire in the 100 block of Main Street in Fernley at 4:45 p.m.


• An accident on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley at 5:16 p.m.


• An accident on West Newlands Avenue in Fernley at 5:42 p.m.


• A misdemeanor arrest in the 3900 block of Atkins Street in Silver Springs following the report of a fight at 7:54 p.m.
