Fore qualifies for state

Ryan Fore qualified for the NIAA state meet in boys diving by taking third with 369.75 points. Holden Sapp was sixth with 298.90 points and James Spencer was eighth with 266.20 points for Douglas. In girls diving, April Epps was fifth at 297.80.

Those who qualified for today for Douglas were: Girls 200 free - Sara Sigala, seventh, 2:10.73; Mandy Moore, 14th, 2:20.58. Boys 200 free - Taylor Brockway, fourth, 1:57.56. Girls 200 individual medley - Whitney Simpson, 11th, 2:31.99. Boys 50 free - Ben Weiss, 14th, 25.41; Blake Maxwell, 16th, 25.47.

Girls 100 fly - Kaite O'Neill, fifth, 1:04.15; Kaylee Hames, 14th, 1:10.33. Boys 100 fly - Ben Weiss, ninth, 1:04.32; James Barnard, 15th, 1:08.96. Girls 100 free - Josefina Sigala, sixth, 57.89. Boys 100 free - Maxwell, 14th, 58.02. Girls 500 free - Hames, 11th, 5:49.76.
