Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Jeffrey Scott Brio, 40, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested at 11:27 p.m. Tuesday at Roop Street and College Parkway on a 2005 Lyon County felony warrant charging unlawful use of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Two coroner calls in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard.

• Graffiti reports in the 600 South Carson Street, 1300 block of North Carson Street, West Park Street, East Sophia Street and 800 College Parkway.

• Battery report in the 4100 block of East Fifth Street at 12:30 p.m.

• Assault report in the 1100 block of West King Street.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Accident on Highway 339 in Mason Valley at 9:33 a.m.

• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 1:42 p.m.

• Accident on Shadow Lane in Fernley at 7:46 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• A report of an aggressive dog on Diablo Road in the Virginia City Highlands at 10:57 a.m.
