Carson City

The following people were booked into Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Paul Milton Merritt, 32, of Silver Springs, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. Tuesday at Highway 50 East and Airport Road on a Montgomery County, Kansas, warrant for suspicion of unlawful sale of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $10,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report of a counterfeit $10 bill passed at a South Carson casino at 10:19 a.m.

• A fence was cut and industrial equipment taken from a business in the 1600 block of Fairview Drive sometime Sunday night.

• Accident at East Robinson and North Stewart Street at 11:48 a.m.

• A woman who was in the hospital said she returned home and found her pain medications stolen and tools left behind in the 2400 block of North Carson Street.

• A mother reported at 9:47 p.m. that her 15-year-old son did not go to school or come home.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A Dayton mother reported at 5:35 a.m. that her 16-year-old daughter took belongings and apparently ran away overnight.

• Report of a man shoving a woman to the ground on Hall Street in Dayton at 1:11 p.m.

• Report of money stolen from a home on Appaloosa Way in Dayton sometime between 1 a.m. and 2 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on East Newlands Drive at 7:01 p.m.
