The Virginia City High School boys basketball team outscored Whittell 19-9 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 48-39 win over Whittell on Wednesday.
Jake McCain scored 13 points and Zack Ullom and Robert Barrington each added nine points for the Muckers.
Virginia City also won the girls game, beating Whittell 47-20. Megan Brandon scored 12 points, Cambria Briethaupt had 10 points and Gigi Glogovac added nine points for the Muckers.
