A memorial service for Harlene Diehl, 67, a Carson City resident since 1965, will be 2 p.m. today at the Diehl residence.

Mrs. Diehl died Jan. 1, 2007, at her home. She was born March 28, 1939, in Trail, British Columbia.

She married Roy Diehl on March 9, 1957, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Diehl lived at Moses Lake, Wash.

She enjoyed bowling, reading and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband in October 2006, and by her sister Betty Pinchbeck.

Among her survivors are her daughter Debbie Brown of Fort Meyers, Fla.; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
