Richard Morrow, 75, a 29-year Carson City resident, died April 17, 2007, at Carson Convalescent Center.

Mr. Morrow was born Nov. 23, 1931, in Sacramento, to John Edward Morrow and Daisy Belle Carroll.

He married Lorraine Morrow on April 20, 1965, in Washington, D.C.

He was a chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy and had served aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise, during the first nuclear-powered cruise around the world, "Operation Sea Orbit."

Mr. Morrow enjoyed antique bottle collecting, metal detecting, baseball - especially the San Francisco Giants - and painting.

He was preceded in death by brothers James Morrow of Seattle and Jack Morrow of Sacramento.

Among his survivors are his wife and son James Morrow, both of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law John and Laura Morrow of Reno; daughter and son-in-law Julie and Kehl LeSourd of Reno; brothers Howard and Donald Morrow of Sacramento; and three grandchildren.

A private ceremony will be held at Lake Tahoe.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
