Warm sunny day ahead; traffic delays around road work

Today's weather will be sunny with highs 65-75 and light winds becoming southwest around 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, clear with lows 32-43 and southwest winds 10-15 mph in the evening becoming light.

The Nevada Department of Transportation at 6:14 a.m. reports all routes open Northern Nevada with no controls. A wind advisory is posted for Washoe Valley, campers and trailers not advised from East Lake Boulevard to Winters Ranch.

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Edmonds, and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.

Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are suggested.
