Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 23-year-old welder from Carson City surrendered to authorities on two misdemeanor warrants for failure to pay a fine and failure to attend drug counseling. Bail was set at $3,500.

• A 28-year-old unemployed Carson City woman was arrested at 11:25 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $120.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 10:21 a.m.

• Report of a man pulling a gun out on a temporary employment service worker at 11:07 a.m.

• A woman reported at 1:02 p.m. that her husband bit her and pulled her hair. The husband was gone when police arrived.

• Report of a television stolen from Pine Lane at 3:02 p.m.

• A 1996 red Honda Passport was reported at 3:38 p.m. having been missing for a week from the 3100 block of Shriver Drive.

• Report at 3:53 p.m. of a stolen motorcycle recovered from a business in the 5400 block of Highway 50 East.

• Report of a burglar entering through a window and making off with a game console in the 400 block of South Saliman Road at 4:14 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Spruce Avenue in Silver Springs at 7:24 a.m.

• Report of a truck burglarized in the 800 block of Commerce Way in Fernley at 2:40 p.m.

• A woman reported her boyfriend hit her in the head and took her 2-month-old baby. A woman was arrested on Fort Churchill Road in Silver Springs at 1:35 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Fort Churchill Road in Mark Twain at 4:11 p.m.

• Battery report on Dayton Valley Road at 6:11 p.m.
