Weather outlook for Carson City; continued road/utility work

Weather for the Carson City area Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with highs 60-70 and light winds becoming west 10-15 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight will be breezy with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain after midnight. Lows 32-42 with west winds 10-20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

Areas of utility work continue on Carson City streets, most notably on Fairview Drive from Silver Sage to South Edmonds, and on Highway 50 East from Saliman Road to Airport Road.

Highway 50 East roadwork is primarily from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
