Donald Rightmire, age 78, passed away Nov. 12, 2008, at his home in Genoa.
He was born May 4, 1930 in Venice, Calif. He graduated Carson High School in 1948. He served aboard the destroyer USS John W. Thomason for four years.
He is survived by wife Billie, sons Terry, Robin, and daughter-in-law Paula, daughter Sheryl and son-in-law Lou and grandson Devon.
A graveside service will be noon, Saturday at the Genoa Cemetery, Genoa. Refreshments will be served after the service at the family's home at 2263 Main Street, Genoa.
