The community can get a sneak peek of The Lodge, an assisted-living and memory care community, Saturday at the Gold Dust West, 2171 Highway 50 East, in the Pinon Room.
From 12:30-4:30 p.m., employees will give presentations on all of the communities owned by Ridgeline Management, and offer brochures and information on what will be available at its Carson City location, 2200 E. Long St.
"We'll have actual carpet samples of what is available, brochures showing information and our mission statement," said Tami Allen, administrator.
Allen said they already have accepted six deposits for residency at The Lodge. The building is three levels and totals about 78,000 square feet.
It will have 61 assisted living apartments and 22 memory care units. Dining areas are on the third floor, which offer views of the Sierra and includes private family dining and outdoor patio dining.
Other amenities include a spa with a whirlpool bath, fitness center, salon/barber shop, library and media room.
Allen said the projected opening date is the end of May.
