Obituary: Paul Richard Teifel

Paul Richard Teifel, 83, of Carson City, died Dec. 6, 2010. He was born March 21, 1927, in Oakland, Calif., to John S. and Elsie Teifel. He was preceded in death by daughter Joann Bridges; sons Mike Teifel and Tim Teifel; sister Anna Benhardt; and brother Carl S. Teifel. He is survived by wife Paula Teifel of Carson City; son John Teifel of Carson City; daughters Melissa Hunter Pettit of Fallon and Ramona Wasley Valdez of Clyde, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
