Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 49-year-old transient was arrested at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor obtaining money under false pretenses. Bail was set at $1,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A woman reported at 1:08 a.m. that a male acquaintance tried to take her children's Christmas presents and receipts and return them.

• Report at 8:51 a.m. of a man missing from Lyon County who was found in Carson City unharmed and not wanting to be found.

• Report of a washer and dryer damaged at a Highway 50 East motel at 9:42 a.m.

• Report of holes in the walls, outlets ripped out, windows broken and front door missing from a vacant home on Brown Street at 12:42 p.m.

• A woman on Valley Street reported her boyfriend ran over her foot at 4:51 p.m.

• A 20-year-old girl drove into a ditch on South Curry Street near Koontz Lane at 5:55 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 2000 block of Mountain Street at 8:20 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 10:15 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of students in the office at Fernley High School under the influence of drugs at 8:20 a.m.

• Coroner call on Granada Street at 9:25 a.m.

• A resident on Pueblo Street in Silver Springs reported at 5:34 p.m. that a neighbor injured her duck.
