Freddie Elmer Watkins, 88, of Yerington, died Feb. 10, 2010, in Carson City. He was born Jan. 20, 1922, in Indianola, Okla. He is survived by his son Noah Freddie Watkins of Sonora, Calif.; daughter, Judy Maderas of Ariz.; stepsister Ila Fry; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. No local services will be held. Inurnment will be in Mt. Shadow Cemetery in Sonora. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
