Thursday morning starts with cool temperatures under clear skies with an afternoon high around 80 and light winds becoming west around 10 mph.

Tonight will be clear with lows in the low 30s and west winds 10-15 mph shifting to the north overnight.

The weekend weather outlook for Friday is sunny skies with highs up to 66 and northeast winds 10-15 mph. Saturday morning will be cool prior to the Nevada Day parade becoming sunny with highs up to 69 and light winds to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Utility and road construction projects continue in Carson City, most notably on East Musser Street for the new sheriff's office, on Highway 50 East from Fairview Drive to just east of Deer Run Road, on Fairview Drive from Saliman Road to South Edmonds and East Fifth Street between Saliman Road and Fairview Drive including the roundabout.
