Today's weather calls for sunny skies becoming partly cloudy by afternoon with highs from 31-41 and light winds.

Tonight, partly cloudy with a slight chance of snow showers north of Interstate 80 after midnight with lows 17-27 and southwest winds up to 10 mph.

Most roads in northern Nevada are open with no controls. Areas of utility work continue in Carson City, such as Highway 50 East from Saliman Road to Airport Road, and on Fairview Drive from South Roop Street to North Lompa Lane.
