Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Lompa Lane, primarily between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.

Fairview Drive from Saliman Road to Roop Street will be closed westbound beginning June 9. Alternate routes of travel are Colorado Street to the south, and Little Lane to the north.

Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are advised.

The Nevada Department of Transportation at 6:30 a.m. reports all routes open in Northern Nevada with no controls.

Today's weather will be sunny with highs 70-80 with light winds becoming west around 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, breezy and partly cloudy with lows 45-55 and west winds 15-25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph decreasing to around 10 mph after midnight.

Tuesday, breezy and party cloudy with highs 68-78 with west winds around 10 mph increasing to 15-25 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 35 mph.
