Weather for the Carson City area today will be partly cloudy and breezy with highs 59-69 with west winds up to 10 mph increasing to 10-20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph in the afternoon.

The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 5:38 a.m. all roads open with no controls.
Utility work is being done on Corbett and East John streets off North Roop Street.
Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, as with East Fifth Street from Saliman Road to Fairview Drive.
Work on Highway 50 in east Carson City and Mound House continues with posted lower speed limits and narrow lanes just east of Flint Drive.
