Taylor bowls fifth 300 game of year
Fred Taylor bowled his fifth 300 game of the year when he reached the number on April 16 in league play.
In the same league, Mike Madrigal bowled a 299 game and 803 series.
Softball signup deadline is Friday
The last day for 2009 adult softball signups will be 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday at the Community Center front office at 851 E. William St.

Children as young as 3 years old are learning the fundamentals of martial arts at relentless Martial arts in Fernley.

"We teach these very young children strong physical fitness fundamentals like hopping, skipping and jumping. We combine this with a healthy dose of structure and discipline. .. Then we add some fun and create a really cool class for 3 to 5 year olds to enjoy," John Mariotti, head instructor at Relentless Martial Arts said.
